Regarding The Fight Spot

July 28th, 2007 | Announcements | Syndicate Content

You may or may not have noticed already, but I launched another blog a few weeks ago. My namesake. ShawnBlanc.net.

If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet I suggest you do.

It will be especially engaging for those of you who like any of my Mac / Tech (or ‘nerdy’) posts. As well as those of you who are into design, blogging and more.

Why Launch Shawn Blanc dot net?

I launched sbnet so I could have another avenue for posts. Even though I kept telling you (and myself) that The Fight Spot was a tech and Christian blog, there was a clear line of those who read it for either one or the other.

Those who were reading for both, I salute you.

Because I think in compartments it was too difficult for me to write an article about prayer right after an article about boosting blog traffic right after an article about Quicksilver while publishing them all in the same bucket. So, as the header now states - The Fight Spot is now primarily another voice helping to change the understanding and expression of Christianity.

What does this mean for TFS?

Now that I have two sites it means a subtle change in posting rhythm for The Fight Spot.

You can still expect several posts a week but they will be dominantly focused on Intimacy with God and the End Times while answering the ‘how then shall we live’ questions.

How You Can Stay Connected

If you haven’t already, you may want to subscribe to the full feed for shawnblanc.net and then go check out the site.

There’s just something weird about reading a blog, and not being able to comment on it. It limits the depth that each post can be taken to imo.
