Anyone have plans to get an iPhone tomorrow? I don’t.
Even if I did have future plans to get one - which I don’t at the moment - I wouldn’t be buying a 1st generation model. In a few months they’ll be better and cheaper. However, I am thinking of switching to Cingular in a few months when my Verizon contract ends. But not for an iPhone. I’m actually thinking Blackberry.

I’ve got a blackberry now, and I’ve gone back and forth about selling my blackberry, a free iPod I just got and a few other things and getting an iPhone or waiting until the next generation of the iPhone to come out and get it later. I think I’m going to wait for someone to give me one for my birthday. But I have a feeling that Cingular or Apple may be giving a discount if you sign up for a contract. We’ll see though… Apple may not let them.

I think the iPhone might be my next major “gadget” purchase. But I still have a while with my t-mobile contract. They just sent me a free BB Pearl because my BB 7100 died on me. The pearl is a great phone. I was stoked when I pulled it out of the box and turned it on. Its pretty cool. It does everything I need it to and looks really sharp.

I have a BB and it works great, but I am impressed by the iPhone flashy stuff.

Man, I so want an iPhone. They just look so stinking cool. Now, I will have to wait about a decade before I can afford one, I was just able to afford a razr a couple months ago.

Ha, I really want an iPhone, I’ve been sucked in by the gadgety-ness. It looks so sweet, and in all honesty getting rid of my iPod and just being able to use my Phone will do it for me.

I got one tonight!
Great, except my previous carrier, Alltel, takes 24 hours to transfer my phone number so I’m stuck waiting. Truthfully, this is kind of fun. I will get a lot of business use from the ability to sync with iCal, Address Book and Mail on my work iMac.

I’d be tempted if I could use the phone at home (where I am a great deal of the time). According to the AT&T web site, I would have to be outside in order to get a signal. That might be a challenge in 20 below weather! ha ha!
I bet it was fun to be a part of gadget history yesterday, though! I hope you sell your phones fast!

I’ll stick with my CrackBarry. Copled with Opra-Mini 4.0 (which I recomend for any phone with a dataplan), I can surf the net and get my e-mail. I wouldn’t use the mp3 side of the iPhone because the only time I use my mp3 player now is when I go to workout. I wouldn’t dare use a $500 phone when I’m at the gym or on my bike.
