Yes. It’s true. I went and bought not one - but two - 8GB Apple iPhones.

And guess what. I’m not even going to open them. I will be in posession of them for no more than 336 hours (14 days).
They’re for sale on eBay.
- iPhone Number One
- iPhone Number Two

I couldn’t do that, having them sitting across the room tempting me like that..I could keep one and sell the other.
Are you planning to buy one for yourself once the hype has died down a little?

@ Glenn: Yesterday I would have told you no, but after some hands on at the Apple store I probably will get one.
But down the road. Maybe if AT&T offers discounts and the next generation comes out.

Ah man, thats mean. You got me all excited for a moment. I thought you were going to say Reader give-a-way! ha! I’m admiring your restraint though, I would’ve cracked and opened one up by now.

@ Shawn: im commenting from my motorola q - which works great for what I need. You know that if Randy gets wind that you are thinking iphone instead of blackberry he’ll freak!
Didn’t you buy the $600 version? And yet you are starting the bidding there? Why not 650 to at least get your tax back? All the best at getting some buy nows in the next few days!

This is part of the fruit that has come from the fasted lifestyle
Having two iphones in the house and being able to resist - I bet that kind of self-restraint didn’t come naturally!

Well, actually knowing that if I open that sucker up, I’m several Benjamin’s in the hole for this month’s budget.

Too bad they kicked everyone off the day after it came out.

I was amused to see on article on Raytheon’s intranet site today. Apparently, iPhones are not to be used for company business. Not only is there a security issue with safari (just one so far? That’s good, in my book), but apparently the OS is incompatible with any antivirus or firewall software. That is a surprising (and significant) oversight on Apple’s part.
