Screenshot 2

If you’re like me you change your desktop background about as often as your socks – but for different reasons I hope. I’ve had about 3 different backgrounds since the last screenshot post. Here’s what I’m sporting right now (You can click it for the 100% version).

desktop background 3.18.07

What’s yours look like right now? Give us a link in the comments.

    3 questions.

    1. Where do you get your desktop pics?

    2. Is there any way I can this screenshot blow up a bit?

and 3. How did you change your icon for the hard drive?

    That is all.

    @ JM:

    1. I get them at random places. I don’t really surf for them, I just bump into them sometimes and so I’ll DL them and save them for later.

    2. I just linked it so you can click on the small screenshot for the full view.

    3. I used CandyBar to customize my icons. You can read more abut it and find the icons I’m using on the post I wrote here.

Very clean. Looks nice. What icon set are you using in Candybar? I like the drive icons you have.

I really like that desktop image. It is simple yet very nice; it isn’t too over powering either. Good find!

You can CHANGE your desktop picture? Why would you want to do that? Socks smell, but I kind of like my desktop picture. It’s…familiar in a technology that otherwise keeps changing. And yes, it’s the Windows XP picture of the green grass and blue sky with puffy white clouds.

Apple could do new ads that have me as the grandma PC and say stuff like that. haha

i use all photographs i took for my desktops. i love abstract photography and lots of white space, so it pushes me to take intentional photographs that i know i will like as desktops.
