I appreciate you infusing “kingdom-talk” into the discussion on Adam’s site. It’s so vital an issue, the Kingdom of heaven, and so scary and sad that it seems to be avoided entirely when “the gospel” is mentioned. Were Jesus very first words “in His ministry” about the in-breaking of the Kingdom with supernatural life to regenerate man, animal, and planet?
For so long I never realized that Jesus said “…and this gospel of THE KINGDOM must be preached to all nations, and then the end will come” in Matt. 24. We must be faithful to preach the good news of salvation in Christ as well as “the full counsel” of the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Side-note - I downloaded your notes on “Lifestyle practices..” and thought they were great. I even used a quote or two from it in my preaching last night at our campus ministry here at Texas A&M (igniteministries.org). I suppose you will have some new readers as I gave credit where credit is due…
