Vizu Answers released their March 2007 Blog readership Report. Some great info to help you streamline your blog, and get an idea of what’s going on when you’re not looking. Not surprising that most people search for niche information, and the vast majority of people only read blogs. Did you know that readers look for Quality content above all other factors. And they prefer personal opinion oriented content.

The 13 page PDF report is here.

“Dem’s fightin’ words…” lol. Ok, I find that report interesting. I did realize that the study was based around some specific sites, Spanish blogs if I am not mistaken, and it was a number of sites that participated in the study.
While the results are interesting too, I think we need a more thorough review on other sites and compare different results to see what trends are happening in which areas of the internet, and what different blog readers like. I am happy that the report itself was well done as far as the questions are concerned. We need similar studies happening on a regular basis to get a better idea of the diverse human nature reacting to the world of a dynamic and at the same time static internet.

@ Bes: Obviously it would be extremely difficult to get an accurate view of all blog statistics. But little reports like this are a fun read and help folks like you and I brainstorm a little bit more on how we can make our sites better.
