Mine definitely doesn’t look as artsy as that.
It’s a picture of my nephew, but I’m so computer un-savvy that there’s no link here for you to see just how stinkin’ adorable he is.
@ Hollie: You have to have a website to put the picture on anyways. Being computer un-savvy isn’t your problem. You havent’ started your Nothin’ North About it blog yet.
@ Scott: It’s just a screen grab. On Mac you hit ‘apple+shift+3′ and it screenshots the whole picture. Then I simply uploaded it as an image. On Windows I think you press ‘print screen’ if you have that button. Is that old-school?
That was fun! I did the ‘apple+shift+3′thing for the first time and it made a picture sound and appeared right on my desktop. I wonder what else I don’t about this mac?
whoo-hoo!! I can’t believe I figured out how to do that. For windows users (yes, I know we’re behind the times) its Ctrl+Print Screen, then paste it into the application you are working with. I am new to this whole ‘loop’ thing… so if you click on the link (above post), you will have to manually click the arrow to make it stay on the picture. Otherwise it changes too quickly.
@ Jeff: I can’t stand a dirty desktop. I have a “temp” folder down by the trash can that I keep things that don’t have a home yet. Thus keeping the desktop tidy.

@Jeff: You have more things in your Dock than anyone I know O.o
Shawn, I applaud you for keeping your Desktop free of files… I can’t stand clutter. But I really don’t get why people put so many things in their Dock. Quicksilver = bliss.
