I got my new moleskine journal today and it seems the perfect beginning for the new season that has begun in my life…today.
Everything was is in a haze.
The 73 hours I worked at the conference over the past five days were amazing and horrifying. I had a blast managing the stage, but it was by far the busiest I have ever been.
I woke up this morning after a few hours of sleep that seemed to be only a few drops of water after running 26 1/2 miles in the middle of summer, in the Sahara, wearing a 3 piece suite
Getting to bring in 2007 was amazing. It was my last night playing with Merchant Band. I’ve been with Marcus and Tim for 5 years now. What an amazing ride. Dwayne introduced us at 11pm and told the whole crowd it was my last set, and I received a round of applause. Thank-you everyone. Last night really felt like I was playing and worshipping with 10,000 of my closest friends…
He Leads us
Psalm 23 is the Word of the Lord to so many of us right now.
He is leading us in the paths of righteousness. He is directing many of our hearts into the Love of God. He wants you and I close to Him. I know a lot of friends that are smack dab in the middle of transition right now and it is hard.
But it’s all because God is leading us. He’s our number one fan!
Who’s on drums?
Not me. I’m taking January off to let the blisters and wounds on my hands heal for the first time in 1,827 days (that’s 5 years plus two leap days).
February 1st I’ll be joining Rizzo’s team.
The New Prayer Room
The new lights on stage are now like the weather in Kansas City: If you don’t like it just wait ten minutes.

I saw the new IHOP stage on the webcast when I turned it on today. I was a little taken back when I first saw it, but I think it’s growing on me.
I watched bits and pieces of onething on God TV. I was kinda dissapointed they didn’t show the worship after the speaking.
I pray that you and Anna have a great new year!

Wow, a lot of you were in KC for the conference. I bumped into Abby, and I got an e-mail from Theresa.
I considered setting up a meeting at the Starbucks around the corner for all the readers that would be there, but I was so busy there was no way it was going to happen. I barely got to see my wife.
Maybe next year…

That is a great idea to have a meeting next year. I would have introduced myself if I would have passed you at Municipal Auditorium. I don’t think you could see me from section 2 in the back.
We are back in California now. What a great time in the Lord. Our hearts are full and we are energized to run the race.
Get some rest!

Haha, I love the “lights are like the weather in Kansas City” line. That was hilarious. I’m liking the green backround the best. How’s your drumming break going?

I’m glad you all liked the tie. It’s an old tradition from 2005. I’ll probably keep it going with Rizzo’s team.
I’m starting to like the lights in the Prayer Room too.
And yes, it is darker in the seating area, but it’s a little more mellow that way…
Nobody liked the big room when we moved from the little trailer, so I think we’ll all be used to in in a few weeks (or months).
