After a few days with WordPress 2.1 I just couldn’t handle the bugs anymore. I have been having a lot of trouble with the admin interface specifically regarding postings. Ecto wasn’t working either.
I am now back to my last working backup (2.0.6). The first thing I noticed was the slower responsiveness within the admin panels….bummer.
If you notice anything wierd around the site, please let me know. I’m sure there are a few loose ends floating around here and there.
In other news I’m working on a sweet post for my blog’s one year birthday tomorrow. (The Weekend Surveys will be put on hold for FTSA’s birthday party.)

I’d be interested to konw what kind of bugs you were finding and having trouble with. I’ve yet to make the jump to 2.1 been to busy to sit down and upgrade, now I’m thinking I might wait til 2.1.1 for the bug fixes!

Me too. I’ve upgraded three blogs to 2.1 and haven’t seen anything major. (On one blog, the visual editor icons aren’t all showing up. Still trying to figure that one out.)

After editing a post I would hit save and end up on a blank
/wp-admin/post.phpscreen. The post was saved but I didn’t get redirected.Also, I was unable to delete any drafts. After hitting ‘delete post’ I would lose server connection in Safari. Firefox wanted to download the
post.phpfile, but it was blank.I’m not web geeky enough to troubleshoot those issues. If you know anything please share.

I upgraded to Wordpress 2.1 just a few days ago. The only issue I’ve encountered is that sometimes I can’t paste something into the write/edit page. This has only happened occasionally and when it’s happened I notice an error at the bottom of the page. I am able to save, close the window and then log back in.
I’m using IE… I’m wondering if it’s a Firefox specific problem, Shawn. Hope they get it fixed so you can re-upgrade soon.
