How much fun can be had when you mix adults, kids, and snow?
Coat hoods filled with snow, ice melting down your back and the satisfaction of getting some swing on your throw and seeing it land right in someone’s ear?
SNOW COOKIES with hot cocoa — ya’ know, the littled powdered sugar bundles. Why? Because it doesn’t involve me dressing in 3 layers of clothing and getting all cold and wet. I think I was born to live in the south.
Kelsey: We should switch places for the winter, you could move to Fort Mill and I could more to KC. You could enjoy the 70 degree weather in December and I could enjoy the snow.
Snow Day!! There was nothing better than a snow day growing up. I have to say that I am not as thrilled by them now; however, I can relate to the joy of the children …..and their teachers! Snow days do bring back good memories.
I remember the craziest snowday I ever had in Colorado…
It started snowing on thurssday and got so bad they let us out early. We had no school on friday. My parents got stuck at thier friends house friday night while my sister and I both had our best friends over to say the night. The whole town was shut down until tuesday. I didn’t see school or my parents for 4 days.
The snow was so deep we were literally diving off the back deck - 15 feet up - into the snow while in our swimsuits. Hike back up through chest deep packed powder and jump into the hot tub.
Shawn, great snow day memory! Mine were a bit tamer than that - shoveling, skating, sledding, snowballs, hot cocoa, some TV, a good book. (And maybe some arguing with my sisters thrown in for good measure - along with my mother’s standard, “Somebody’s going to get hurt!” Nostalgia is setting in!
Snow.. globe.. umm thats the only “snow” ive ever seen. No snow here.. just rain.. and lots of it.. i wish i had snow memories.. hehe.. Lord i pray for snow to fall on this side of the world..

Snowboarding
Hands down. It’s my favorite thing in the world.
I’d rather be on the back country free riding than in the park.
Fresh mountain air. Thick trees. Soft Powder. Clifs…

Never been snowboarding but I’m picking it anyhow. Did a bit of skateboarding as a kid and this seems like a better deal.

My brother and I would use our sleds at sheilds and hurl snowballs at eachother. The best is when they’re ice and they hurt a little bit.

Snowball fight for sure, but if it’s winter and the lakes are frozen the hands-down choice where I come from is broomball.

Snow Cone! During the summer, some icy delight! I’m from California, it just rains and gets windy here.
