onething KC: Day 3

December 31st, 2006 | Prayer, onething | Syndicate Content

We have finally gotten into a rhythm with the stage schedule, the bands and all that jazz (actually, nobody has played any jazz yet).

I played my last prayer room set with Merchant Band yesterday, and tonight I will play my last set ever…. I’ll be wearing the old-school, traditional, button up shirt with a tie to celebrate five awesome years with some awesome guys!

I have to admit that the highlight of my day yesterday was when Steve Cooper showed up with a vanilla latte from Broadway Cafe and let me have a few sips. Today I had better get my own drink or heads will roll my friends…

That was one sweet prayer room set yesterday. You need a latte today, give me a call (or I may be sitting up behind the back of the monitor board again.

Ha! Sure enough - the drummer’s looking snazzy, tie and all on the webcast! It’s :30 past the new year on the east coast and the streets of Philly are abuzz with screaming revelers and fireworks. You guys are set to join us in 2007 in about 28 minutes.
