I have learned an exponential amount of information concerning leadership over the past several weeks, and especially over the past few days.
Something I didn’t know before was the difference between group leadership and infrastructure leadership.
Running the stage for 16 hours a day is pretty intense, but I am really having a blast. It sure is different from leading crew:2 on Mondays that’s for sure.
My favorite moments so far
The very beginning of Merchant Band’s set last night: Let’s just say it was a little “goofy”.
The end of the night last night - after Allen Hood’s message - 10,000 people sang Here I am to Worship acapella.
Pre-Stadium Christianity
This conference is the “little bethlehem stable” of something we call “Stadium Christianity”.
Stadium Christianity is simply another term for revival.
It means there are so many people hungry for God that we have to move the church service into the stadiums. It means so many people are getting healed and saved that the place is packed because of activity of God. It means the Word of God is being preached with glory and authority and souls are genuinely getting saved and sinners are genuinely repenting. It means the Church is praying and releasing the mercy and the judgment of God.
Last night we got a small taste of that as 10,000 of us (not including those watching on God TV)prayed for Iraq to be covered in safety and mercy through the execution that took place.

That (prayer for Saddam and Iraq) was my favorite moment last night. It was great to see so many people engaging in prayer to God, lifting one heart to the God of mercy. I must say that I really love to see how dedicated everyone is at the conference, serving for hours a day like you..It is not in vain because there are so many young adults touched by God, they will leave the conference with a radically different heart. I hope you all will have a blast tomorrow night.
Thx for keeping us updated Shawn!

We had a group of people watching it on God TV last night and we could feel the atmosphere within our house shift at that moment when Mike started praying for the salvation of Saddam and protection and revelation for the church in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Israel. We all began praying with you guys and it was sooo powerful. That was my favorite part of last night’s session.
