Communing with God. Fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit.
Having a relationship.
We all know the Romans 8 verse: “There is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus….” but don’t stop there. There’s more:
“…who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”
Are you walking according to the flesh or the Spirit?
It is not hard. Something I do that helps me to remember that God is active in my life is to pray in tongues. It’s a doorway to encounter and intimacy.
The point of communing with God and fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit isn’t because we ought to (though we ought) but it’s our very salvation. We were saved into a relationship.
We have been granted an audience with God. Why deny ourselves the privilege of the ages?

“Grace of the Lord…and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” (2 Corinthians 13:14)

Just out of curiosity, what do you consider praying in tongues?

Nick - Praying in tongues is praying to the Lord with a language that He gives us.
Look in Acts 2, when they were in the upper room and received the Holy Spirit they began praying in ‘other languages.’
The primary point of praying in tongues is that our spirit is communing with God as we pray mysteries and groanings. (Romans 8:22)
It’s a way to build ourselves up in God (Jude 20).
