If you’re like me, when you come to a site (even a site that you regularly visit, such as this one) you don’t necessarily look around much. You see what the latest post is, and if it looks interesting you browse through it quickly, maybe even leave a comment.
Another way you might be like me is that you read more than one blog on a regular basis. (I currently have 23 pro-blogs and 22 personal blogs that I skim through every day.)
Here’s a brief list of a few shout outs for you to see what I’m reading behind the scenes in my blogging world.
Friends that are also regulars to my site:
Apple Related Blogs:
Blogs about Blogging:
Pro Blogs:
So there is my short list of some recommended feeds. Surprisingly enough I don’t read any blogs on similar topics to mine. I wouldn’t exactly classify my site as a personal blog. What would you classify it as?
Also, I’m curious what do you read and recommend?

I’d classify it as a personal blog with a mild focus on religious topics.
I’m a programmer/web developer, so I like to read several blogs based on design. These web developer blogs I like are Boagworld, A List Apart, and Devlounge. For programming, I really enjoy The Daily WTF and Slashdot.

Ron - only a mild focus on religion? Maybe it’s time to go to a whole ‘nother level…. That is some excellent linkage by the way.

Well, I read a bunch of Christian mommy-blogs, but I don’t see much demand for that kind of linkage in your readership.
I do appreciate reading Persecution Blog, and would recommend it. Honestly, the writing is not the best among the blogs that I enjoy, but the content typically more than makes up for anything lacking in style. Hearing about and praying for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world is very sobering, especially in the hour in which we are living.

Oh, and I’d classify your site as a “Christian Life” blog.

@other sarah - are you sure it’s not a monster truck rallly blog?

You know, that is a very good question, one that I’ve been trying to answer and write about myself, but I wasn’t sure quite how to put it together.
Better yet, I like the idea of how you put it as a challenge. Mind if I use you as an example for one of my blogging challenges? It will help people really look at their link and blogroll lists and see who they really would recommend, without recommending EVERYONE. I hate “those” kind of lists.
And thanks for having me on your list. What an honor!
