Wrapping Up the past 168 Hours

This week I have posted a lot, a few, a moderate amount more than my usual 1.2 posts per day that I wanted to do a quick re-cap of some things I hit on and ask you guys what were some major helps for you.

[You can read all the posts this week as part of the “168 Hours to a Focused Life” Series.]

I started out with Why we need a focused life. Talking about the importance of having a life vision of knowing our long-term goals in God and in life.

We went into having a life vision, spending your time well, a few posts on the importance of time management and some very quality lifestyle practices.

All these things are so great and so helpful. But I realized something yesterday; that living this way is like digging a hole. Just a great big hole right there in your front yard. Because no matter how hard we try there is nothing in us that can get us to God.

We need something outside of ourselves to bring us into true intimacy and connection with Jesus. We are digging that hole and asking Him to fill it with Himself. With true love, joy, happiness and experience! I want to know God you guys and I need Him to help me.

This was an AWESOME series. Maybe do a revised version next October or something? It has inspired me to not be so lethargic..I actually wake up at the same time everyday now, and it’s not noon! haha

@ Evan: Thanks. In fact, I have recently been thinking about re-doing it. I think it would be a great idea.
