A time for kings

Some people are natural morning people. I am not. Some people just pop off their pillow with out any help from an alarm. I battle the snooze button every day.

But there is something about the early morning. That time when it’s no longer dark, but not yet morning.

It’s a time when the world belongs to only to those few who are awake. A time where we walk around like kings while others remain unseen in their beds.

The early morning is such a valued time for me. I somehow feel closer to the Lord then, like I can hear Him better.

But then again my alarm for work goes off at 4am, and I fully despise it sometimes…

Fully Despise is a great description for the 4am alarm. I have to use the radio to wake me up because that crazy repeating beep just makes me mad.

I am one of those early morning, pop out of bed kind of people. Of course I nod off about 9:30 at night. I love the time of day you are talking about, so peaceful, not cluttered with the noises of the day. And not long after it its time to thank God for the beautiful sunrise!

I love that time of day as well… and getting up in the morning is a disaster for me. That’s why I stay up all night and wait for it! (Gotta love the night watch. Think 4pm, not 4am.)
