This evening I have nothing but stories of my day to post. I am on a mini-vacation in Laconia, New Hampshire visiting an old friend of mine from his KC days.
I got picked up late last night at the airport and on the drive home, it was a funny “some things never change” situation when my friend got pulled over for speeding. No ticket given.
When we arrived at his family’s new home I swore we were at a mountain lodge. This place is gorgeous. I woke up this morning to the sun shining over the Lake Winipasaki and the surrounding trees and rolling hills as I looked out the window of the largest house on the tallest mountain in at least a 20 mile area.
It has been a great day to relax with my buddy and his family and to catch up on our lives. We had a good conversation about lifestyle choices and I had a chance to touch on why I live a ‘fasted lifestyle’.
Which brings me to something Anna and I talked about tonight.
Do we really live the fasted lifestyle? Are we truly doing what we signed up to do? Are we actually living the way we say we’re living? How can we be more faithful, especially with our time and our money.
I think I re-evaluate how I’m living about 3 times a week. Is that good or obsessive? I suppose it depends on what I’m evaluating against. I’ve been using Matthew 5, 6 and 7 as my grid lately and I think I’ll continue.

I find myself re-evaluating my life a lot too, cause at times I know I definitely don’t live the fasted lifestyle haha.
