1. My sister is coming to visit this weekend. She is awesome.

2. I’m scheduled to preach at the Atlanta onething conference. I’ve been to almost all of the 24 some-odd onethings and this will be my first time to preach. If you’re at the conference, you should come here me. I promise it won’t be a drum clinic.

3. I went to football practice today for the Blazing Annas Football Squad. (a.k.a. IHOP staff football team which will be competeing against the FSM team in a few weeks at IHOP’s 7 year anniversary). It was awesome. I am not very good a football but nobody said anything and that was very kind of them. Thanks Mike for not cutting me.

Ben - I”m not doing the main session, but they tell me if I get at least five people to cry durring alter call then I’m qualified to speak on the main stage in December!
Josh - Assuming they record my afternoon session, which I think they will, I’ll upload a copy onto the site for all to download and hopefully enjoy. I’ll be speaking on Holiness. Living a Godly life, Sermon on the Mount kinda stuff.
Nathan - I hear the unofficial FSM team name is “We’re going to lose”.

I would LOVE to meet your sis! How long is she in town for?
Can’t wait till Atlanta…don’t get nervous!
I was thrilled when I saw your name on the schedule! And I think you’re our opening speaker for December! Except Mike’s asked that you drum and speak at the same time…. something about a new facet called intercessory worship/preaching.

Count my tears in - even though they will be via weblink. That counts. And speaking and drumming is kind of the new rage. All the kids are doing it now. So glad the OneThing team is reaching out to the young generation in this way! Rock on, Shawn!
