No Case of the Mondays Here

So far today is a good Monday.

The Coffee was terrific this morning. If I was Tony the Tiger it would have been grrrrrrreat! I found that if you put little to no cream in your coffee it doesn’t get bitter the longer it sits in your thermos (information that would have been useful to me yesterday).
My set in the Prayer Room this morning with the band was a blast. We were singing and playing out of Revelation 4. The grooves were good, the songs were good and I really connected with the Lord in a way that I don’t always get to when I’m drumming.

Today I’m taking my Prayer Room Team down a new road of focus and direction. We’ll be taking this week to talk about the goals and the visions of why we’re on a prayer room team. I’m really looking forward to it. My goal is to help define each of the team member’s position and calling here at IHOP and then help empower them to go after that with faithfulness and strength. Admitadly not an easy goal.

Tonight, Anna is beginning her Traveling Healing Teams. On Mondays her and some others will be going to people’s houses that are too sick to come to IHOP to receive prayer. I’m so proud of Anna for pursuing prayer for the sick, plus that means to night I’ll have a quiet house to myself. It’ll be a good chance to catch up on some reading…

I hope you’re Monday is going well too. Feel free to leave a comment.

U P D A T E : This day just got a little better thanks to Bob Leonard and his homeade bread.

Joseph and Heba were talking in the office about your talk… sounds great! Would love to hear how things go with that. I’ve been thinking about that a lot too… because of Onething I’m in and out of the PR alot. I need to gaurd that time a lot more!

    Enjoy your peaceful evening!

‘The Talk’ ahh yes. I love my PRT. Jo and Hebbs are also a wonderful duo!

My peaceful evening ended up turning into ‘moving in an old friend that moved back to KC’ evening. But I had a great time re-connecting.
