The idea that we are to lay down our promises from God as if they will never be fulfilled or even pretend as if they never even existed is not a Biblical idea.
What is Biblical is for us to submit to the leadership of the Father and to trust in the supernatural power of God.
Death is over-rated
God has no problem with raising people (or anything else) from the dead. We have to be willing to go through the valley of death but not not without remembering and fighting for our promises!
If we ever doubt the complete fulfillment of our inheritance as believers (in this age and in the ages to come) then we are doubting God Himself as the Author and Finisher of our faith.
Keep the end in mind
We have lay our promises down trusting that He will raise them up but when it’s just right for us and those around us. We have to die daily knowing that if we do we’ll recieve a better resurrection.
The whole point of dying is to come back to life, not to stay dead. Nobody that ever died will stay dead.
